Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we have the all the relevant paperwork on site and can assist if needed.
We ask that our patients arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time so that any necessary paperwork can be done without taking up any of your appointment time. On entering the clinic, please report to the reception desk and give all relevant paperwork to the reception staff.
If you don't have a referral and your injury is caused by an accident we can lodge a ACC claim for you. We will ask you to fill in a client questionnaire.
Your physiotherapist will then take you through to a treatment room and the assessment will begin by the asking a series of questions to work out how you hurt yourself and how things are progressing. Following this we will do a physical assessment.
After this physical assessment the physiotherapist will discuss your injury with you, outlining your treatment options and together with you will set some goals for recovery. At all times permission will be asked prior to any treatment given and you will always be given an opportunity to decline any types of treatment you do not feel comfortable with.
If your injury is the result of an accident, there is a small co payment charge for your visit. There may be a charge for materials, e.g. strapping. (If your application for treatment is declined by ACC, we will invoice you for the full treatment costs).
